To use it in Moodle, click on the Components for Learning button In the Atto editor and select the item Reminder:

Use cases

When introducing a new concept that requires a particular previous knowledge that’s assumed to have been acquired by the learner.
After explaining a complex concept, the Reminder component can be used to summarise the essential part the learner is encouraged to remember.
In a practical environment, it can be used to refresh the learner’s memory regarding a theoretical concept needed to solve an exercise, spearing the learner from having to fetch it.

Examples

Scientists use the term bioenergetics to describe the concept of energy flow through living systems, such as cells.

A cell is the smallest fundamental unit of structure and function in living things.

Cellular processes such as the building and breaking down of complex molecules occur through stepwise chemical reactions. Some of these chemical reactions are spontaneous and release energy, whereas others require energy to proceed.
